Senior Software Engineer
Sim Ops Studios is looking for a senior software engineer who has experience creating or maintaining a 3D engine. This position will be responsible for guiding and actively participating in the development of a PC-based game engine.
Sim Ops Studios is working on a breakthrough technology that will turn editing and sharing 3D worlds into an everyday experience. The team consists of creative game and simulation developers who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of interactive media. A spin-off company from Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center, Sim Ops Studios is charging forward to invent the future of interactivity on the web.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in C/C++
- Familiar with OpenGL
- Experience with making a 3D engine work on a variety of PC graphics cards
- Needs to work well with others
- A flexible approach to problem solving
- Ability to verify legal eligibility to work in the USA
Recommended Skills:
- Experience working with in-browser 3D a plus
Applicants with significant game development experience preferred.
